De pequeña lo que más le gustaba era correr de acá para allá mientras descubría insectos increíbles y ayudaba a animalitos enfermos o en peligro. Fue en esa época que algunos de aquellos animales comenzaron a contarle cuentos al oído, los cuales escribía rápidamente en una libreta que llevaba siempre encima.
En la actualidad, las historias surgen de la forma más inesperada: algunas llaman a la puerta, otras las encuentra escondidas debajo de la cama o nadando en el café con leche, aunque la mayoría aparecen como mariposas que pilla al vuelo.
Autora de números libros infantiles. La mayoría de sus obras se comercializan a nivel internacional y pueden encontrarse en más de una docena de idiomas. Ha sido premiada con Medalla de Plata en los Moonbeam Children´s Book Awards 2013, en USA.

Susanna Isern grew up among mountains in the Spanish Pyrenees. When she was little, her favorite hobby was to run around, discovering incredible insects and helping sick or endangered animals. It was then that animals started to whisper her stories, which she hurried to write in the notebook she always carried with her. She is the author of many children's books, most of them distributed internationally and translated into over a dozen languages. She has been awarded the Silver Medal in the Moonbeam Children's Book Awards 2013 in the USA.

GOMEZ estudió Bellas Artes en la Universidad de Salamanca. Ha trabajado para varias editoriales europeas, como SM en España, Le Petit Bulles Edition en Francia y Scholastics y Sterling en Estados Unidos. Con Erizo y Conejo. El susto del viento, ha obtenido la distinción de Junior Library Guild Selection.

Gómez studied Fine Arts at the well-known University of Salamanca (Spain). A new talent, she has worked for several publishing houses in Europe, such as SM in Spain, Le Petit Bulles Edition in France, and Scholastics and Sterling in the USA. Her book Hedgehog and Rabbit. The Scary Wind is a Junior Library Guild Selection.
