Stefi hopes that spending the summer in Barcelona with her family will help her get over the heartbreak of losing her boyfriend to her best friend. Far away from her problems, she decides to reinvent herself in this magical city where no one knows her.

Xavi helps his mother run her popular tapas spot. When Stefi stops at their counter, Xavi can’t get the beautiful American girl off his mind, even though he knows that his life is already too complicated to start a romance. Because Xavi isn’t just an average catalán boy—he’s also the secret heir to the Spanish throne, enjoying one final summer of anonymity before he must assume his royal duties.

Part bodyguard, part confidante, Santiago helps prepare Xavi for royal life while keeping him out of trouble during his last summer of normalcy. Santi knows that Xavi and Stefi’s budding relationship can’t last once Xavi’s real identity becomes public.
